Affinity Team Spotlight -- Derrick Chatman

Derrick Chatman joined Affinity Technology Partners as Technical Alignment Engineer in December 2021.  If you have not had the pleasure of meeting him, here’s a little bit about Derrick and how he helps Affinity’s clients:

“The Technical Alignment role is key to how Affinity Technology Partners delivers proactive services to our clients,” said Sean Wright, Founder and President. “Derrick's background as a seasoned IT professional makes him an ideal fit for the position, and we know our clients will enjoy working with him.”

Derrick is responsible for proactively managing clients’ technology environments and ensuring alignment with Affinity’s standards. Technical Alignment Administrators perform regularly scheduled visits and hold regular appointments with client contacts, with the goal of becoming an expert on the client’s environment and workflow.

Derrick was previously a network and systems admin at Cumberland Heights. Prior to that, he served as a service desk analyst 2 at Acumen Technology.

A Nashville native who currently resides in Clarksville, Derrick has an Associate’s degree in Computer Networking and is a Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA). He is currently working toward Cisco Certified Network Professional status.

Derrick loves to see concerts at Bridgestone Arena and enjoys checking out the new bars and restaurants in nearby 5th and Broad with family and friends.
