New Hires and Promotions: Meet Our New Client Service Dispatcher and Manager of Technical Sales
We’re thrilled to announce a couple of exciting changes to the Affinity team! Michael Maxwell has been promoted from Systems Engineer to Manager of Technical Sales. And we’ve also added Keith Benion to the team as our first full-time Client Service Dispatcher.
These changes are just another example of how Affinity Technology Partners is committed to our mission to bring high value to client business needs via innovative technology solutions and to delight our clients on a daily basis by providing an excellent experience.
Please help us welcome Keith and send Michael a note of congratulations!
Meet Keith
Keith Benion brings to the team a wealth of experience in customer service, operations, and quality assurance. In his new role as Client Service Dispatcher, Keith will not only be answering client service requests but also managing and streamlining our service operations on a daily basis.
As Betsy Wright, our VP of Operations, put it, “We’re thrilled to have Keith on board with the team. Our continued growth has led us to dedicate a full-time resource to this position. Keith’s depth of customer service experience, along with his friendly personality, makes him the right person for the job.”
For ten years, Keith served as the Operations Manager for the Village Cultural Arts Center, a nonprofit aimed at providing children with cultural experiences from an African-American perspective, including drama, dance, and social activities.
Keith has also worked as a Dispatch Rep and Traffic Coordinator for Comcast Communications, where he managed advertising operations. Keith has technical experience as well, having worked in technical customer support for Asurion, and, most recently, as a Senior Customer Support Representative for Computer Sciences Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University.
Outside of work, Keith keeps his creative side alive through creating art with recycled plastic bottles and as a recording engineer for music projects. He is also married with three grown children.
“Joining the Affinity team has been a very rewarding experience because of the company's family-oriented atmosphere and willingness to go overboard for clients,” Keith says, “I also like the challenge of helping transform Affinity into an even more efficient operation.
Congratulations, Michael!
Since Michael came onboard in 2012, our clients have known him as a hard-working Systems Engineer who always prioritizes the client’s best interests. We’re excited to announce that he will bring that same mindset into his new role as Manager of Technical Sales.
As our team and client base have grown, we’ve identified the need for a dedicated resource to listen to our clients’ needs and craft customized technology solutions to meet them. Given Michael’s enthusiasm both for implementing innovative new technologies and helping our clients reach their unique goals, we’re thrilled that he is moving into this new role.
“We’ve enjoyed Michael come into his own as a Systems Engineer,” says Sean Wright, Affinity’s Founder and President, “And now we’re excited that his talent will be channeled into designing solutions for our clients. His combination of passion for helping and technical expertise make him an integral part of our company and also a great example of our mission and vision in action.”
For his part, Michael is ready for his new role. “I’m excited to start building new kinds of relationships with our clients and working creatively with them to find the right solutions for their needs,” he says, “And I look forward to helping grow our business in this way.”
